Suggest Channels to Add to FiOS TV

actually it is parts of NJ and parts of NY and it is cablevision with the exclusive MSNBC contract for those areas , not comcast

 It's NYC area, including parts of new jersey cause they are a part of NYC area for some reason.  Also sorry I got the company wrong, I'm not employed by verizon and I live in Texas, so cablevision and comcast are the same in my book.  NEXT!!!

regarding MSNBC, the bulk of their broadcasting is not in HD...just a head surroinded by a graphic a la CNN-HD.  Anyway, there's not much Verizon can do until the Cablevision contract expires (not sure when that is.)  But...some channeks coming early nerxt year are rumored to  include E!, STYLE, and G4.

I miss my Canadian broadcasts, specifically CBUT.

With the Olympics coming up I'll miss the slant CBC gives the coverage for the first time since we got cable in the mid '80s.

Still hoping.

And all the other suggestions are great.  I'm still discovering channels we no longer get (we don't get NASA?).

I would like to have Fox Sports Southwest-Plus in the Dallas area.  Unfortunately not receiving this channel will be a deal breaker and will cause me to move to Directv. I will be missing local sporting events due to FiOS not having this channel in it's lineup.  It will be dissapointing to leave because I really have enjoyed your service but local sports is the main reason we even watch tv.

I live in Portland, OR.  I get CSN NW in SD, not in HD... 

I am considering switching to comcast because it is rediculous to get games in SD but not HD, espicially when all games this year are broadcast in HD.  

Please hurry, the season is about to start and I don't know how long I will make it watching SD when HD is available...!

Please!  Why do we need to plead the case for BBC America HD?  With the new planet earth (or whatever it is called) about to start, Skins, Top Gear, etc.  This has to be one of the more popular channels.
