TV Neutrality

Why are we being forced to buy TV channels we don't want? I for one will be cancelling my television services until a la carte programming becomes available. Wake up Verizon, otherwise in 10 years, you won't have a single TV customer. Stop forcing us to buy things we don't want to buy and support things we don't want to support.

Verizon (and the other cable providers) have very little control over that.

The content providers dictate how their channels are carried.

Verizon tried to break them up and was sued by ESPN because of it.

You need to complain to the content providers.

You are barking at the wrong people my friend. Rob is right, it is the CONTENT providers that are going to fight this. Verizon did try and was sued by ESPN, and others. The content providers do not want ala carte.

You should be going after them force you to buy things you do not want.

Well, ESPN is now having their own financial woes. Karma at work?
