Julie - I'm with you. Are they going to credit us for channels we are paying for and are not getting?  Probably not.  I'll going to look into ATT Uverse and Time Warner.

Bring The Weather Channel back!  I am disgusted Verizon dropped TWC and replaced it with such inferior programming as  Accuweather.  Verizon, you can't really believe you have provided viewers with a show that even comes close to TWC.  You certainly have demonstrated your lack of disregard for your viewers.  Verizon get your act together and return TWC to the viewers.

I cannot express myself  that the weather channel has been dropped from the lineup.

If I wanted Acu weather I can use my cell and do not need a TV.

Now I'm seriously thinking how to minimize my service with Verizon!!!

Verizon needs to reconsider not re-engaging with the Weather Channel.  You need to realize it is not your place to decide how and where the content of weather is received by consumers, you completely misunderstood how the weather channel fits in people lives (not only for the actual weather but the programming) and the 'replacements' you offer are crap.  Verizon has lying and theiving people on the air all the time between some of the news and religious channels but something as real and innocuous as the Weather Channel doesn't get pursued?  Or is Verizon a climate change denier and this is political?  Anyway when the contract is up hopefully there will be more alternatives to Verizon, cause I want to be gone.

I will also be jumping ship as are many of our friends and family.   The weather channel is watched by so many, not even for just the weather but the entertainment value of the newscasters.  You get to know them and it makes watching even the craziest weather entertaining. 

We watched a bit of Accuweather today.  Who cares what the weather is like in Phoenix, AZ when you live in Delaware?  The weather it gave us was no where even near Delaware enough to make a plan for the day.  Our job makes us live by the weather. 

My parents don't have smart phones to see the weather.  Many, many people we know do not.  I don't want to look on that little screen for the weather. 

This is the absolute worst move Verizon could ever make!  Get rid of one of those religious channels where the guy actually said......"God is asking me to ask you to write that check".  If I didn't hear it I would never have believe it.    Really?  Let's keep the channel that is ripping off people and get rid of the one that is used by so many.

Thousands of people switching? Because of the Weather Channel??? Somehow I seriously doubt that. May be a few dozen but not thousands. Personally, I'm glad to have a weather channel that actually shows the weather. Though I will miss Weatherscan, that was very helpful.

The part that is really frustrating is they keep dropping channels.  I just got a letter in the mail saying they are moving Fox College Sports channels 300-302 to a higher package.  

Then $1 increase per STB.  When will the madness stop?

My husband and I always watch the Weather Channel. We were disgusted by your choice to remove the Weather Channel. I have to agree that the choice of replacement is "crap". How dare you not inform your customers that you would be removing this channel. It may be time to reconsider being a Verizon customer. Maybe customer is the wrong word to use since a business usually values customers. Maybe I'm just a Verizon idiot! You really need to reconsider this decision before you lose more so-called customers.
