Please bring back the Weather Channel!!!!  AccuWeather just doesn't cut it.  Weather Channel was always more informative and provides better coverage of weather events. Please bring it back!!!

With the biggest hurricane in history approaching the U.S., the absence of the Weather Channel is a disservice to all customers and shows total disregard for customer saftey.  Accuweather is a joke.

How many customers of Verizon need to voice their displeasure of the God-awful accuweather channel "replacing" The Weather Channel before they listen?? I am seriously considering switching to Xfinity not just because Weather Channel is so superior a service vs accuweather, but more so because of how Verizon has just chosen to ignore their CUSTOMERS' pleas to bring it back. I am not usually the guy that writes in forums like this but it is idiotic, in my opinion, to keep this obvious mistake on your part. At this time, we have witnessed a 100 year storm in hurricane Harvey hitting the Texas gulf coast and what is being called the most powerful hurricane to form in the Atlantic basin bearing down on the southeastern United States and I am stuck watching a loop of the accuweather boredom over and over again with very little coverage of what is happening to family and friends affected by these epic storms!! It is nonsensical.

I'm new to FIOS And I can't tell you how disappointed I am there is no access to the weather Channel. FiOS AccuWeather channel is not at all comparable to the type of coverage you get by watching the weather channel. The meteorologist stand in front of a screen all day with the most monotone except explanation of the weather. They're not out in the field in the elements. TWC meteorologist are in the thick the events as they happen real timewhich brings a level of excitement and interest to the weather. Watching AccuWeather is literally like watching paint dry. Please give us TWC... PLEASE!!!

I'll be moving to a new home in Nov. I plan to change back to DirecTV since they now carry the Weather Channel again. My family is in Fla, and I want more info on hurricane Irma than the **bleep** on weather nation. Complete disservice Verizon.

FiOS has no customers in Texas, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. If the Weather Channel simply stuck to showing/reporting the weather rather than wanting to be another reality channel, and charging ridiculous subscriber fees, I would be more supportive.

NOT SOLVED!!!!

at the very least, offer weather channel for premium!   there is no substitute when a hurricane like Irma is bearing down on relatives whose lives are in jeapordy!

It's been a couple years since you eliminated The Weather Channel (TWC) from the FiOS line-up, but in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, and now with Irma heading toward Florida, it is time for you to bring it back.  Accuweather pales in comparison and, simply put, TWC is a life-saving necessity in times like this.  You need to reconsider your misguided decision for the sake of your customers.
