Verison supports the bashing of Christians by their actions of sponsoring ABC Show "GCB"

As an owner of a company with over 50 employees, I intend to change cell phone service providers if Verison does not pull their support in befor the month of March 2012.  This is not a threat, just a response by voting with my wallet.

Just to give you a heads up we're all ready in March so they really can't drop if  "before" then.  Does not make that much logical sense really.

If you don't like the programming may I suggest a more simple solution it called changing the channel.  Verizon already has 14 channels devoted exclusively to Christian religious programming so I think we know which way they swing.

Please don't let anything I say keep you from dropping Verizon though.  I know I'll be doing so for other reasons in a couple of days.  The more people that drop the merrier

You don't like it DON'T watch it. I am a Christian and I find CENSORSHIP far more OFFENSIVE than any bad television show.

As a consumer that abhor's censorship and fully supports the rights of free speech (which at times includes material in bad taste), I and many others would be more inclined to drop Verizon as a provider if they DID selectively decide to pull the show from the air.   Faith has nothing to do with it.

As a service provider, it is not Verizon's role to be the decision maker on what content may flow over a given channel.  They decide which channels and networks to provide as part of their service and then are contractually obligated to provide that channel to their customers unaltered in any manner.

I don't watch the show, nor do I intend to ... and yes, if I did I may find that if offtends my Christian sensibilities ... but funny thing those little buttons on the remote called "power" and "channel".  I push one and suddenly the show is not there.  Hmmm....

If you truly object to the show, complain  to ABC and complain to those who advertise on that show and thereby provide financial support for it's production.   It's your right just as it's the right of someone who likes the show to support it.

Oh .. and while your cancelling service.  Better drop AT&T because I'm sure they carry it on uverse, and Comcast, and well anyone who supplies internet service becuase they'll let you browse to ABC's website or watch the show on Hulu, etc.  Oh ... and the electric company ... how dare they supply power to the television station that's broadcasting the show.    And well, better get rid of your car because how dare it use gas which comes from oil which comes from parts of the world which have a far worse track record for their oppression of the Christian faith than a TV show ...
