There is NO indication that Verizon has any intention of dropping AMC. See
http://forums.verizon.com/t5/FiOS-TV-Programming/A-Message-to-our-AMC-Fans/td-p/505345
What you really have AMC deliberately trying to manipulate Verizon Customers as part of the negotiations where
AMC obviously wants more money from Verizon. This behavior has unfortunately become common in the business.

I watch AMC probably more than any other channel, and apparently many other customers feel the same way. Why would they drop the channel?

Another money grab from a greedy giant. AMC is the one at fault here. Love the stuff they produce. But seriously life goes on.
As long as I can watch what I like I don't care. If I have to wait 2 years to see the next episode I can do it.

First of all I love The Walking Dead and would be super disappointed if AMC was cut from our channel line up. However, everyone is blaming Verizon when I think the real blame should go to AMC. After seeing Direct TV and Dish go throught this same situation the past summer it obvious to me that AMC is causing all these problems. I suppose it's because they are asking for more money (which is usually the case). My opinion is yes I want to keep AMC. But how about some blame toward the ones causing this problem!?!

Hi All-
First, I'm a little obsessed with The Walking Dead (Sunday cannot come fast enough!), so I completely understand where many of you are coming from.
I want to reiterate again that AMC is guaranteed to be on FiOS TV until at least the end of the year. We are working like mad to ensure that AMC sticks around through 2013 with absolutely no interruption in your service- no one wants you to lose any channels.
If you want to keep up-to-date on the latest on our negotiations, please go here.
Thanks,
Heather

I hope it doesn't happen! I hope AMC and Verizon can settle this like nice, multi-billion dollar companies. Can't we all just get along? I don't want to miss my Walking Dead mayhem! Good day to you Govna!
