I have been happy with Verizon Fios for a long time but losing AMC would have to be a deal breaker. If AMC goes, I go with it along with my phone, home monitorig and internet. I pay $157 a month for just the Fios portion of my Verizon bill monthly. I'm sure that will buy me AMC elsewhere.

Drop AMC? How about drop YOU?

Don't be foolish and let the best of television (Breaking Bad and all its Emmys) get away because you didn't put Verizon customers first.  Better Call Saul!

I feel same way. AMC has the best programing. I was just thinking how great these shows on AMC were, then got the message on my screen. if the require more dough to run superior programing then its worth it compared to most of the trash out there. I give verizon almost three hundred a month for cable, phone and, I.T. comcast will love my money.

My goodness people.  Except for a few original shows, AMC is a horrendous waste and certainly one of the crappiest channels out there.    It's only worth watching one hour a week.  For WALKING DEAD, or HELL ON WHEELS, or BREAKING BAD, etc.

And they crew over the creators of the showsd you seem to love so much.  On WALKING DEAD, they fired Frank Darabont (even though they used him for publicity at Comic-Con and THEN fired him. And cut the WALKINH DEAD budget by 50%!

(One reason why season two was so lousy.)   They're doing the same thing with HELL ON WHEELS...which was announced for a third season...until creator/showrunner was forced to leave. (Probably over money, as AMC wanted to cut the budget for that show as well.)  And I'm sure this scummy outfit is trying to make Verizon pay a hell of a lot more than the channel is worth.  If AMC is dropped, I can still see the shows on HULU or elsewhere...or just wait for the video release. (where the episodes are longer than what is seen on AMC.)  No biggie.    As I said, without their one hour per week, there's nothing else on the channel.  Movies are shown cropped, censored, and with dozens of lengthy commercial interruptions...can't imagine ANYONE watching what's left of a film (in tatters) on this channel.  Heck, even their HD quality is the lowest on cable.

Knowing how AMC operates, I'm actually glad when carriers stand up to them.  Sure, if they keep AMC, I'll tune in once a. week.  If not, I'll get the content elsewhere.

Good bad or indifferent, it doesn't matter about their programming.    I signed a 2 year contract with Verizon that contained AMC programming.    If they drop AMC , in my eyes they will be abrogating  that agreement.   I'm sure there is something in the fine print of the contract that allows them to change the programming as they wish, but I will take them to small claims court over the cancellation fees when I change to a provider that has AMC.    Small claims courts have generally been receptive to this kind of suit.

It's like sports. You pay the high price for the star players. AMC is now a star player and warrent a primium price. It's not like Verizon isnt raping our wallets anyway to provide service that i constintly have to call the service line for the box screwing up.

The moment Verizon drops AMC, I will drop Verizon.  The only show I look forward to every week is Waking Dead.  I already have a hard time justifying the money I pay as it is.  I hope they don't cancel, but the moment they do, they lose me as a customer

WE TV is one of the AMC channels.  I frequently watch a lot of shows on WE TV.  Please Verizon, do not drop WE TV/AMC!

I will be very disappointed and tempted to find another provider.

Every time I get off of the phone with Verizon FIOS customer service (now THAT is a misnomer, as their customer service is akin to a death march followed by a strip search), I consider that any other provider would value a customer who pays nearly $300 per month and has never had a late payment more than Verizon does.

Verizon, please understand that you may provide a pretty decent end result service, but your customers are only going to accept so much neglect and intolerance before we exit in droves.

AMC should stay. It is what I signed up for. It is in my contract. I will send my hard earned dollars elsewhere if this channel is dropped.
