I am VERY close to canceling and ordering Directv since they offer ALOT more HD channels especially all of CNN and Headline news. 2++ yrs and still waiting! For what Verizon charges ALL channels should be in HD. Anyone from Verizon reading this????

This is a peer to peer support forum. It is not monitored by Verizon.

It is not a "headline news" channel anymore
Making it 16:9 would be sufficent for me

Thank you for letting me know. For sure I thought Verizon would monitor their customers comments.

Sorry but the statement " Directv since they offer ALOT more HD channels" is completely untrue. Even if you do not count those 6 god awful, usless .tv channels Verizon carries MORE HD channels than Driectv.
Don't believe me here is a list of all the HD channels offered by both Verizon and Directv
