Widgets

Can anyone tell me what happened to the Widgets?  Verizon uses them as a selling point for FIOS TV, but they keep disappearing.  Now, they are mostly ads.

Last week I went to check traffic - GONE.  Yesterday I wanted AP News - GONE.  Others that disappeared recently, Facebook, Twitter, a better weather widget., games, etc

There is absolutely nothing on Widgets that I am interested in.  Verizon continues to take away FIOS features and channels, but they have had no problem increasing my monthly bill.

I am glad that you've touched on this issue, because I was wondering what happened to the widgets. They also got rid of YouTube sometime ago.

SURPRISE! Overnight many of the widgets seem to have magically reappeared. Hmmm. Is this related to the 2013 annual notice sent last night? The notice that lists all the widgets that Verizon provides?
