YES on remote tv

Message 1 of 2
I am new to FIOS so maybe this has been addressed before. I watch YES for Yankee games on my regular TV however there are times when my wife who is not interested in the Yankees or for that matter any sports wants to watch something else. In the past when this happened and I was a Spectrum customer, I would simply watch the game on the remote app on my PC. FIOS does not have this option. Is it a YES issue as FIOS reps suggest or is it dome kind of cost saving that FIOS implements? In any case why is there one rule for Spectrum customers and another for FIOS?

There can always be a rule for one provider vs another.
All in what contracts the sign.

Given that Spectrum is heavily in the NYC area, I would suspect they have more reason to pay for people to be able to view YES than Verizon that covers a larger area. Being in the Baltimore  area, no reason to want to watch the Yankees.
