CNBC World programs are also shown on CNBC & MSNBC which Verizon is keeping.

I received the email, did not even know I had CNBC World and I definitely don't have MNET at all. So I won't miss either one....

Maybe this will free up space for some channels I might actually care about. Smiley Happy

They are not "dropping" the channels, they are just removing them from the Premier/Extreme packages. If you're an Ultimate tier subscriber you'll still get them.

They need to drop a lot more than two SD channel to actually add the channels everyone wants.

I think I'll go watch a .tv channel, NOT. Just like everyone else but they still exist.

I also watch CNBC World almost every week night - the financial programming on it is coming from Asia and Europe and is not available on CNBC at all - what a loss - one of the few channels I even watch.........

I also have watched MNET from time to time for Korean dramas......

CNBC World is a professional operation while US CNBC is walruses blowing on horns, hysterical female reporters, twitter a caption to a stupid picture and people screaming at each other on Kudlow.

I watch CNBC World all the time.  We don't need more reality TV channels. This is the second time they canceled this network out of my plan.   I am sorry I reupped with VZ, should have switched to Comcast.

"CNBC World programs are also shown on CNBC & MSNBC which Verizon is keeping."

Not Capital Connection and Squawkbox Europe, which I watch to get a handle on business and market news in Asia and Europe ...

Very upset with Verizon, first I lose FUNimation, then they add an extra $/month for the *same* DVR, now I lose CNBC World. Not good !!!!!

Dump Verizon, they are becoming horrible. They really don't give a dam.

I too am unhappy with the loss.  Also, I'm annoyed at the reason - can't quote it exactly but it "streamlines" and removes "redundancy" in programming.  That's an insult to our intelligence.

If you think you want to vent or try to change the programming wonks, here the complaint dept address at Verizon.

Verizon Corp

Attn: Complaint Dept.

140 West St

New York, NY 10007

As a multi-year subscriber and locked in until 4/2014, I'm not going to let this slide without getting CNBC back.
