paying for hd channels?

i pay for hd channels and have 6 tv's with stb  boxes......but no hd channels wk?

i have 2 hd tv's why should i have to pay extra for a stb hdbox?

Unfortunately that is just how Verizon has chosen to market its service.

If it makes you feel any better, the price Verizon charges for an SD box is lower than what most cable companies charge for an SD box.

It can't hurt to call Customer Service and see if you can get some sort of deal to ease the sticker shock.

You can always get a cablecard instead of the HD STB.  However, there is something nice about being able to record on a HDDVR and watching it from any other connected TV.
