Tennis Channel Cancelled? - Please keep.

Why no Tennis Channel? Will Verizon allow me to cancel my service agreement without penalty if there is no scheduled date to resume carriage of the Tennis Channel?

A reliable source on another message board said that Tennis Channel will return this week. For now at least, it will be on the same level of service, so if you had it before, you'll get it back. At this point, it appears that Verizon got what they wanted, but there could be provisions in the new carriage agreement calling for wider carriage whenever Verizon creates new packages. In any case, it's good news.

I know who his source is on "the other forum" and it is a usually reliable one.  That being said, I'll believe it when I see it in my guide and on my screen.

A lot of customers will be extremely excited if this is true, especially since the AO has already begun.

Apparently it is coming back, but only in the same tier as before.  I.e. The Tennis Channel lost this one.  We will see if it returns to Verizon and perhaps also to the other cable companies that dropped it.

And it is in fact back on.  Not sure what tier. 

Apparently its also going to take a bit of time before it shows up again in all areas.
