I have the DVR + HD, Phone, FIOS, package with no premium channels. NYC area.
I am not able to view the following HD channels: ES.TV, Cars.TV (ch599), Pets.TV (ch633), ReceipeTV (ch676).
It tells me to subscribe, which i hit OK but says unable to process at this time.
Can you see what is wrong? Am i suppose to be able to watch these channels?

You need the Ultimate package to get those channels as well as a few others like MGM HD and Hallmark Movie Channel.

Matcarl - I am pretty sure the NYC area gets the Ultimate channels for the Extreme HD price.

No we don't. I'm in NY. I have Extreme, not Ultimate, and don't get the channels I mentioned. They changed everything a few months back.

What about it? In New York we have two packages Extreme & Ultimate whereas everywhere else has a third choice Prime. Anyone who subscribes to Extreme will not get the channels I mentioned for the 3rd time Ekem015. He needs to subscribe to Ultimate if he wants those channels. That is why he isn't getting them.

I think we should be careful here.
Now, I am not in New York, so I don't know the details of packages there. But here in Texas, the old Extreme package most definitely does include those (IMO worthless) .tv channels. I re-upped for the then current Extreme package in Oct. 2009 and do have the channels; in I believe Jan. 2010 Verizon changed all of the package contents, and those channels were dropped from the new Extreme.
So whether the OP should or should not have the .tv channels may (probably does) depend on when he signed up for Extreme, and I don't see anywhere in his post an indication when he did. But again, I am providing info based on being in Texas, it may have been different in NY.

I signed up in May (NJ). The channel lineup the sales rep used included many channels that have migrated from Extreme to the Ultimate package. Of course it takes awhile to figure out you arn't getting what you contracted for....a little Verizon bait and switch.
They make it very difficult to get anyone on the phone .....when you do they are very sorry and would be happy to upgrade to the Ultimate package......nice try! Just hope the competition between cable and satellite remains.
