We now have the added channels in MA!!!

there are plenty of shows broadcast in HD on those channels.

I know on Spike all of the UFC content is in HD

and on MTV, Runs House, Real World, The Hills and all those girly shows are all in HD

South Park for Comedy Central, can't wait

Well I can say they are here right on schedule in VHO-4 Montgomery County Maryland. Just watched Spike HD.

The channels are showing up in my guide, but the screen goes black when I go to the channels.

I'm not sure if it's because they're just not up for us yet (Tampa/Sarasota) or it's because I'm on the older service package (pre-extreme HD), or if it's because I'm using a TIVO HD...

Does anyone notice that all the Viacom HD channels have horizontal blacks bars on the side?  Is that something that will eventually go away?

Horizontal? Do you mean the Vertical side bars? They are there when SD programming is shown like all the other HD channels. Unfortunately these new ones show very little HD content right now.
