weather channel

I live in Toms River, but the weather channel I get is for Newark, 70 miles north, and Belmar, which is 20 miles north and the map doesn't even show Toms River. I used to get it on Comcast. Why can't I get Toms River weather on Verizon?

There are various reasons why you may not recieve a specific channel on Verizon's network to include regulations, etc. You can always share this idea on our ideas page. See the link below.

Verizon doesn't have nearly as many regional video hubs as Comcast does. Each one covers a wider geographic area for Verizon, and thus the weather can't be as localized.
