1.9.1 Guide button cannot be set to show favorites as default

Followed all of the usual steps to change the guide button to only show "favorites 1" when pushed.  IT always goes back to default "all channels"...

While I'm at it - seems that there is an auto-off "feature" now that forces me to turn on both the TV and Set box - yea, I know - 2 button pushes instead of one - but it;s a step backwards...

Thoughts?

for me to do that, I need two settings enabled.

one is modes, and the other is called last guide state.  Both are found in the menu under settings and then TV

so menu>settings>tv (television)

modes should be on, and then WAY down the list is last guide state.

check to see if those got disabled.

Thanks, those setting worked for me.

I guess the last guide state got disabled in the upgrade.

You need to reset the setting that enables  the last view guide state, and turn on modes.  These both reset to the wrong setting for me with the upgrade.
