Last night everything was working fine and today none of my DVR's will respond to the remotes. Is there and update going around the boxes could be downloadng for something? I live in Pittsbught PA if that helps.
Also now they will turn on but the screen is black and they will not turn off.

I have done the resets on them all a few times. I had to call and have them all reset from there end and that did it.

Can you manually turn on the boxes and the TV to get it working? Also in case the remotes got shuffled around the rooms, try taking one remote to each room seeing if it will work any of them.

I had the same strange thing happen to my Cisco CHS-435, and the fix was to unplug the power wait a minute and plug it back in. Cold restart. Not sure exactly why it happened, but I figured a power cycle fixes many other issues, so why not this one.
Let us know if your issue is resolved. I am sure it probably is. A call to support, may have you do the same.
