Just received the new QIP 7232 (Motorola). Talked to support on chat and they said it is not 500 GB but 320 GB. The only 500 GB is the Cisco. Is that accurate?

It's 500 ... it was originally going to be 320 hence the 7232 model number however it was changed to 500 at the last minute so no 7250.

I wondered because I have 28 hoursof HD recorded and it is at 43% capacity which would equate to 65 hours of HD capacity.

You can easily verify the size of the HD by doing the following with the STB and TV turned on:
1) Power off the DVR using the remote
2) Hit Ok, OK, Menu on the remote
3) Scroll down to d13 and hit Enter
4) Scroll down and you will se the size of the HD as 500 GB.

Doesn't work for me. When I hit Ok, Ok, Menu it just turns the box back on.

All you really need is Power Off, OK, OK. My mistake. But OK, OK, Menu works too. I suspect you are waiting too long between button pushes.
