I'm seeing a problem where I can see the FiOS menus, information, guide bars, channel guide, etc., but not the video for the tuned channel. Rebooting the STB fixes the problem, but it's obviously not good. Is anyone else seeing this problem? Is this the bad firmware or a bad STB?

The home screen can be turned off. There is an option to turn it off within the home screen or you can go to menu > Notifications > Promotions > set to disable.

I have done this and when I turn the TV & Box on, this Home Screen still comes up. Not disabled as it shows in the settings. Any way to fix this? Why is it ignoring the "Disable" Setting.

There seems to be another bug that some people but not all are seeing with the home screen disable settings not sticking.

You shouldn't be seeing any of the bugs that are listed within this post as Verizon rolled out an update last Thursday that should have corrected them. Go into your stb/dvr menu go to settings, then to system information. You should be on build number 02.18.2.

Those are the only widgets supported on Quantum right now.
