This is NOT a rant but I am trying to go online to record a TV show. I get all the way through and it says "details temporarily unavailable". I can't record on my DVR from the Verizon website? Seriously?
I'm not having this issue. Just tried it and it's working fine for me. My suggestions would be:
Make sure that you are properly signed in. (Your name shows at the top of the page.)
Make sure that the website is recognizing your DVR. (Click over to My DVR, or check your equipment listing. The website might be having trouble accessing your DVR.)
Try a different browser. (Explorer is giving me full access. Firefox is limiting my access.)
Make sure that there aren't conflicting recordings already scheduled for that time-slot. (Not sure about recording from the web, but when I try to record from another STB, it will warn me that I cannot record, but won't tell me why.)
Try updating your DVR's Guide information by scanning ahead in the Guide at least as far as out as you are looking to record. (If the recording you are trying to schedule is beyond the data in your DVR's Guide, it may not be able to set it up.)
