Additional Record Time For Non-Series

When recording a series, you can add additional record time before and after the scheduled show.  However, I don't see this option when recording a non-series show.  For example, I want to record a football game today.  I go to the show in guide and press record.  It will only record for the three hours the guide is showing.  But, being live TV, it could run beyond those three hours.  I'd like to add one hour of record time, but don't see how to do it.  Am I missing something?

After you set the recording, go into the DVR menu, select the show that you just scheduled and it will bring up an option to modify start & end times.
