Motorola used to give CC options of CC1-CC6. With the new upgrade, the Motorola only give OFF and ON options and ON provides zero results. Why?
Users complained about having to flip through all the CC options to turn it on and off. Especially since normally only CC1 (english) and sometimes CC2 (spanish) had closed captions.
You can still change those using options or the Menu/settings. But now the cc button is just on/off.

Gee, dya think Verizon is unfamiliar with the concept of "test plan? " The blunder here was to default to cc6 instead of the OBVIOUS cc1. I was pleased to find the error in Settings, avoiding the pain of dealing with the diabolical Verizon call center.

If they work on other channels, it is the provider not enabling them, or the specific program not providing them.
