At Least 2 HD Channels Unavailable

Is anyone else in the Philadelphia area getting a 'channel is currently unavailable' message when turning to Spike HD & Nick HD channels? Or know how to fix the issue?

I called the number that appears on the screen and entered the code and followed all the steps and nothing. I even talked to a representative who didn't know what it could be, besides maybe the channels are just out. But if figured if they were out other people might have posted something on here by now, especially since they've been out for over a day.

Try this:

1. Unplug the power to the cable box.

2. Unscrew the coax wire from the cable box. (this jack is labeled RF IN)

3. Screw the coax wire back in.

4. Plug in the power.

Let us know if this resolves your issue.

Is this just on one box, or all of them? (some of them?)

If it happens to more than one, you may want to check any cable splitters and such.

I just tried what you said and I'm still getting the 'channel is currently unavailable' on those two HD channels and Comedy Central HD, I was just flipping through my HD channels to see if there was any others out & I noticed Comedy Central's out too, on both of my HD DVR boxes.

It was working fine Wednesday night because I recorded South Park in HD, but when I got home from work yesterday they were out.

When I called the 866 number there was a message saying that one of the non-HD channels was out and wouldn't be back until today at 5pm but it didn't say anything about any HD channels being out.

 And like I said, I tried everything I could think of yesterday... unplugging my boxes & router for a while, calling the number and letting them reset & reinitialize my boxes,... talked to a rep who seemed to be baffled by it. The only thing he thought it could be is that maybe the channels were out & that they might be working on the problem.
