Blu/Grn graphic distortion from 6416-2 STB

Started a few days ago...I'm getting a bluish-green distortion on the tv screen.  Looks worm-like, and moves around the screen.  It doesn't happen during the commercials...occurs on all HD + SD channels, using a 6416-2 HD-DVR box.  STB to TV using Component Video Cable.

The distortion doesn't appear on the 2nd TV set that's using a 7100-1 box.

What I've described "apparently" isolates the problem to the DVR box,but has anyone experienced anything like this?  Searched the forum unsuccessfully.  Thanx...

David

From my experience with that, reseating the component cables should fix it,  they just lost contact to a degree.   or making sure that they are in fact blue to blue, red to red and green to green.,  give it a whirl, see if the problem is deeper than that.

Tried re-seating everything...no improvement.  I'm guessing that the distortion is "noise."
