Is there a way I can find out what the CCI flags are set for the various channels on FIOS?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copy_Control_Information
Are most of them set to Copy Once or Copy Freely except for channels like HBO? If so, what is HBO set for? Copy Never?

Every channel is 0x00 (Copy Freely) except for 131 and 1952 which are the FiOS TV Info channels that are 0x02 (Copy Once). You can only tune to them if your CableCARD is paired to your unit. Channel 571 is the only other exception which is flagged as 0x10 which according to TiVo means: ";The copyright holder of this program permits viewing at less than high definition on component outputs."; That was an answer given a while ago. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r26501429-DVR-VH08-CCI-flag Fios doesn't apply the cci flag the unless the providers request. To check it you have to use your devices menu. S if you own a TiVo, then the TiVo will tell you.
