YOU CAN CHANGE THE OPTION BUTTON ON THE LOWER BOTTOM RIGHT IN THE GUIDE MENU TO" CHANNELS I SUBSCRIBE TO" BUT, ONCE YOU GO TO A CHANNEL IT ERASES THE OPTION. IS THERE ANYWAY IT CAN BE LOCKED TO WHATEVER YOU SET IT AT?

Yes. This has been covered multiple times (search is you friend).

Go to Menu-Settings-Television-Last Viewed Guide State.

Set that to enabled.

Then set guide option to the one you want.
