What preview box are you referring to? When I press the On Demand button the first thing I see is the Video Store screen with  a bunch of options displayed on the left and the Featured item pre-selected. Easy to scroll up and down from there to select the area I want to view.

I believe you're talking about the picture in picture showing an endless stream of commercials for Verizon VOD movies and other Verizon products. If that's the case then no you can no longer opt out. You could (I did) under 1.9 but 1.9.1 seems to have stopped that. Under 1.9 you had a still photo with no audio. Now it's the barker channel but you still have the mute button.


BTW with VOD movies in the guide listings how many people have switched from DirecTV see the VOD listings in the guide and think "Drat, I missed the start time, oh well" Really, the VODs in the guide have start & end times as if they were PPV on DirecTV.
