The subject line asks my question. We just upgraded to Quantum internet and tv. Our old remotes had one button at the top that turned on the STB and TV with one click. The new remotes have two buttons at the top, one for the STB and the other for the TV. You have to program the TV button with the code for your particular TV manugfacturer. After that, you have to hit both buttons to turn on both components. Since turning on the STB should mean I want to watch TV, can the STB button be programmed to turn on both components?

Not sure, but just leave teh STB on.
Doesn't save any energy to turn it off.
Just toggle the TV.

Thanks, CRobGauth. I'll try that if all else fails.
