I recall Verizon's press release said we should have about 150 HD channels by the end of the year... Can we expect anymore?

As far as i have been told there will be more and i haven't heard anything to the contrary.  Some areas have already broken the 100+ mark.

Here's a list of HD additions I've seen posted elsewhere.  The .TV channels are due to be active by the end of the year, but they're already showing up in the program guides for people in Maryland I believe.  NHL should be active this week for some areas.  Don't know when NBA-TV will hit.  MLB debuts Jan 1, 2009, so we'll get that the first day it's on the air. (we'll get corresponding SD versions of each of those sports channels as well)  Encore is already on in some markets.

558 ES.TV

586 MLB Network HD

587 NHL Network HD

589 NBA TV HD

599 Cars.TV

633 Pets.TV

651 HSN HD

674 MyDestination.TV

676 Recipe.TV

682 Crime & Investigation Network HD

695 Comedy.TV

850 Encore HD
