I couldn't find any solution under similar threads, but here's my issue:
During the course of watching a DVR recording, the stb box powered off, and powered on about 90 seconds later displaying a gray box with red text reading "please wait". Programming on my tv then resumed about 20 seconds after that. The issue I am having now is that the only buttons that work on my remote now are the stb power on/off, the TV power on/off, the volume up/down, channel up/down, and the info button, which magically transformed itself in a parental control setup and activation button. The box has powered itself off three different times, doing the same thing as the first time. I've unplugged the box, tv and modem. How do I fix my problem??
