Channels reception on a regular set top box

I have a problem with all channels reception on a regular set top box (Multiroom DVR works w/o any problem). Everything started on Friday. Each channels looks scrambled vision with pixelized lines. When I will play on that set tob box anything from DVR it works w/o any issue. I have done a lot of troubleshoot steps with a live chat support but without any luck - just wasted 1.5 hour 😕

Any idea what can be wrong? Or I suppose to request a replacement?

Tiling is not an equipment issue. It is signal related. I am not sure what you have done already, but these are the most common things that will correct this issue...

1) unscrew both ends of the coaxial from the set top box to the wall outlet, clean the tips, put back on

2) Try a different coax from the wall to the set top box

3) unscrew connections off the main splitter, clean the tips, put back on

Please let me know if further assistance is required. This would not be an equipment swap, it would be a tech visit to see where the signal is getting degraded.
