Enough! My home is the only sanctuary I have from a country that has gone completely insane. Why do I have to endure HUGE increases in volume when a commercial comes on. Some of the worst offenders are VERIZON for their "blockbuster" on demand movie promos! If I'm next to the remote control I simply hit the mute button. However, I'm frequently 30 ft away in the kitchen doing something when one of these crazy things goes off.
I love the picture quality of FIOS, especially in HD. I also have home phone, internet and wireless with Verizon. IF SOMEONE DOESN'T DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS VERY ANNOYING PROBLEM SOON I'M GOING TO CANCEL THE SERVICE WHEN MY CONTRACT EXPIRES IN NOVEMBER.
