Paying extra for OnDemand service and now I can't skip over commercials when viewing ON DEMAND shows.

The inability to skip with VOD is set by the provider, not Verizon. So don't blame them. It is the same for other cable companies. And for the record, you do not pay extra for VOD. it is included in the basic rate.
