Communication between two DVRs

We recently installed two DVRs - both QIP 6416-2s - and are wondering if it's possible to watch the programming on one DVR on the other (as we can watch that programming throughout the house on other TVs). Is there a setting I'm missing - or is this something Verizon doesn't yet offer? (We were able to do it previously with Tivo and Dish DVR...)

No, you cannot.

You can watch DVR recordings on another standard STB (and HD STB if your area has the upgrade IMG 1.6), but not another DVR.  This does require a subscription to the multi-room DVR service, which remotes enables an option on your existing boxes.

Of course, if you must have streaming between DVRs, you can always buy two TivoHDs for FiOS.

Correct, you cannot stream from one DVR to the other - I found this out after my install.  The thing that kills me is if they had one DVR with enough space there would be no need to.  I got the 2nd one to allow me and the wife to record all our shows but now we have to duplicate them.  The upstairs DVR is connected to a SD TV so we get a lot more recordings on it and have had to view them when the HD fills up and won't record anymore.  Sheesh.Smiley Sad
