Everytime I lose power to the DCT-700, it defaults to ON when power is restored. It drives me crazy because 1) electronics should always default to OFF when power is interruped, and 2) I've got to go run around my house and turn off 3 adapters. There's no need to waste heat and power.
The STBs have no problem with this. Neither does my TV.
Is there a "secret code" that I can enter on my remote to force the power-up to go to an inactive state (front panel LED OFF and no internal processing)?
