Where do I hook up my DVD player?  TV or FIOS Box?

Is there a remote button related to input type to watch DVD player?

You hookup your DVD player to your TV.  FiOS has nothing to do with it.

You would use your DVD player remote or another universal remoe.

I am going to disagree with KenAF on part of his answer.

I agree, TV. The Verizon STB has no input connections other than for the cable from the ONT, so you would connect the DVD player to the TV directly.

But the Verizon remote does have the ability to control at least some of the functions of the DVD player, if you can find the correct code to enter into the remote. Here is a link to a Verizon web page with a list of codes for DVD players: Link. I can use my Verizon remotes to control both of my DVD players, one a Sony and the other a Toshiba I think, for at least the most common activities like Play, Pause, Stop, etc.

Also, the Verizon remote can control the input selection function for at least some TVs. I have two TVs that I use the Verizon remote to control the input on, a Sony LCD and a Toshiba tube-type. To use the input function, labeled "A/V" and "Input" in the lower left of the remote, just hit the TV button on the remote first, then the Input button. It will usually cycle through all of the available inputs on the TV, keep doing it until you find the one for the DVD player. Works great for me, you avoid switching remotes or buying another one.
