I am having DVR problems...cannot get to widgets, cannot record or go to video on demand!

Have you tried to reboot your router and DVR?

Are you able to access the Internet from your home PC without issue?

widgets, video on demand, and guide uses your router to get that infomation.  check to see if your router is working. if it is working, and you have a second box in another room. swap the boxes. if the box works in another room, then it could be the cable line going to the room where the trouble is.  if it doesn't work in the second room also , then it sounds like the dvr box.
