DVR-SCHEDULING CONFLICT

When a 3rd show is in conflict on the DRV to 2 other's already being recorded, does the scheduled conflict recording

get postponed until the next airing of the show?

Unless it is a series recording it will be cancelled due to the conflict.  The software is not smart enough to determine the next airing and whether it is the same episode or not.  Additionally if you have the series set for first run only, it will not reschedule a show not marked as new otherwise the series will (according to your priority) record the next episode (repeat or not).
