DVR Scheduling Problem - Second run of Series won't set to Record on Multi-room DVR

On our Multi-room DVR, we record the series "Justice for All with Judge Cristina Perez" at 8:00 - 8:30 am on FIOS Channel 509. We would also like to record different episodes of   "Justice for All with Judge Cristina Perez"  that follow each day from 8:30 - 9:00 am, also on FIOS Channel 509. However, our DVR will not accept a 8:30 - 9:00 "Record Series" request - a pop message states that the series is already set to record.

Only the 8:00 am to 8:30 shows are recorded each weekday morning. Only after manually one by one adding record requests for the show starting at 8:30 am will that episode be recorded.

If we delete both series from the DVR's record schedule, we can setup the 8:30 am series to record. However, if 8:30 series is setup, the DVR will not accept a request to record the earlier series at 8:00 am.

Any ideas what is causing this problem? Any suggested work-around?

What are the series options you have set up?

Options like, First run only, specific time/channel, etc.

Rob,

Options set are: 1st run & Repeats; Keep 5; Start & End On time; Channel Selected (i.e. 509); Air Time - Any; Duplicated - No.

Thanks,

Bill

Rob,

Your note prompted me to try something else that worked.

If we change the Air Time option on the first series from "Any Time" to "Scheduled Time", then the DVR will accept a second series with the same name on the same channel to record at a different time. Apparently the "Any Time" setting was blocking the second entry.
