Why is there no way to start a program late to avoid a conflict? I have this problem with Lost, The Good Wife, and Parenthood. Lost ends at 10:02, and the other two shows start at 10:00. So instead of just recording one program starting after Lost ends, the DVR just cancels it completely. Is this being worked on and will a fix be provided? All it would take is the ability to either manually or automatically be able to start a program late. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Right now the only way to do what you want is to manually schedule a recording (an option under the DVR menu that allows you to set the channel, start, and end) as opposed to guide scheduling.
