When will FIOS offer a DRV that can record more than 2 TV shows at the same time? Let alone having to tune to one of those if I'm watching TV and can't tune a 3rd channel. Other providers are surpassing you, FIOS. Do I need to get the HOPPER?

This is a technical support board, not a Verizon info board.
So far they have not released a date for the VMS.
And keep in mind, the Hopper dedicated 4 tuners to the broadcast network channels.

This has already been asked a million times over. The media server was delayed because it was held up in court waiting for the fcc to pass it and what not. It's now in beta testing phase, but does not have a release date yet. Latest said was late winter early spring.

Actually the Hopper uses a trick and only one tuner for the broadcast networks. And only has two other tuners. The trick is it record one satellite frequency that has all four channels. My original Panasonic tuner and DVHS recorder does the same thing. It records all the subchannels for a channel at the same time, and you can choice any one of them on playback.
