Just moved and got DVR installed. After a bit of time DVR functions, recordings, and schedule all disappear. Reset box and it'll come back but after a couple hours it happens again. If i try to use the Fix/Activate My MR-DVR Service tool it tells me its unable to find my account details. Also occasionally while watching tv the screen goes black sound usually continues. Changing channels will usually fix it but not always. Feel like the box is bad. Any suggestions?

May be box failing or may be your current software level.
You are talking to peers here. We would need to now the STB model number and software version.
If you determine its a failing box, you will have to contact Verizon. (1-800-verizon).
