DVR jump ahead

Message 1 of 3

Had Directv for years. Don’t miss it.  Except for one feature. It’s dvr allowed me to jump ahead long intervals (30 mins at a time if I recall). With it I could FF to end if a long recording in seconds.  On Fios it seems I have to FF at max 8x speed.  Is there a faster solution?

Yes.

When watching a program, hit the up arrow on the remote.

Then you will have option to jump ahead in either 2 minute (for shorter programs) of 10 minute for longer.

You will see a number of icons so you can go to where you want to be.

If you don't see the option, go into settings and confirm chaptering is on.
