DVR recordings How do you know how far along it is?

So we are watching a SHOHD movie, and want to know how far along the movie is. We hit pause, expecting to see some kind of status in the banner. We essentially get the movie description and no marker of any kind, and no timeline.  Is this as designed or is it a bug?

What version of the IMG (guide) is running on your STB (v1.5 or v1.6)?  In 1.5 there is a time on the left and right of the info bar.  The one on the left tells you how much time you have watched and the one on the right tells how much recording is left (does not work if you are playing something while it is still recording).  Can't answer for 1.6 since my area (SE PA) hasn't been upgraded yet.

The progress line on the info banner is easy to miss if you are not looking for it, because it is two shadings of the same color with a slim line break. Just press ok on your remote while watching your show to bring up the banner.
