DVR deleted recorded programs to make room for new recordings. These items are listed only in ALL ACTIVITIES. Is there any way to restore them?

Programs deleted in that manner can't be recovered.  If there was no space available for new recordings, it would have been necessary to overwrite the deleted program to make room for the new recording.

To avoid a recurrence of that, you should review existing recordings and delete those you want the least.  Or get additional space.

you can even protect the shows to avoid system deleting the programs to make room for new recordings. But all the new shows wont record until you manually delete recordings them.

If you now have space, you can go to recently deleted. And then select the show(s) you want to watch.

That is assuming that they weren't overwritten.

I tried that. It doesn't come up in recently deleted, only in ALL ACTIVITIES & states program was deleted to make room for new programming. Since it shows up there, I thought there might be a way to restore it. I called Verizon and the agent didn't have a clue what to do.

Thanks for your expertise. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to retrieve the programs.  I did delete less important recordings and changed options so that I was the only one able to delete programs. But, unfortunately did not know the option was available until after the programs were permanently deleted.
