can someone clarify what are the main differences between a stb and a digital adapter besides size and price.
i know you cant receive any hd signal right?

DCT-700 Standard Definition Digital Adapter

The digital adaptor gives you access to all the channels that you subscribe to with the exception of HD. The digital adaptor is standard def only.
Also the digital adaptor does not give you access to any of the internactive features... so no Video on demand, no on-screen guide, no widgets. In short it is only a channel changer.
the full size stb gives you access to all interactive features and if you get a hi-def box you also get the HD channels.
