Does a HDTV need to be present during install? (I'm moving into a new place).

Hello,
I won't have my HDTV until later in the week but my FIOS install is on Monday.
Does the tech absolutely require a TV? Or can I just bring my TV in later, plug in the HDMI and start watching.
Thanks.

You can have the TV connected later, but it's always a risk. With a TV the tech can confirm proper operation before they leave.

When I opened my FL Home. I had none of my TV's unpacked yet. ITs no big deal. Yes a STB that is bad would mean you need to contact them again.
