Hi,
Looking at the front bezel of the Media Server, on the right side of the box on top, it says Dolby Digital Plus.
Does Verizon send DD+? My receiver just shows DD, (it would show DD+, if it sees it). I tried HBO HD, and several channels. So my guess is Verizon isn't sending it?
Anyone have an answer???
Thanks
Ron

DD+ is not directly backward compatible, although devices which include DD+ decoders can extract a compatible stream. The specs I found don't explitcitly mention that the VMS (or IPC) support DD+ but some on other forums say its chip set supports it. Currently no DD+ is "broadcast" or as far as I can see is in Verizon VOD.
If the hardware does support it, a software update might be needed.

HI,
So I am assuming this answer is no. Is anyone receiving DD+ from Verizon? Do they support DD+?
Thanks
