We currently have
FiOS TV Prime HD 210 channels 55+ in HD
FiOS QuantumSM Internet Speeds up to 50 Mbps/25 Mbps
with a multiroom dvr and a set top box
We have 2 hd tvs but want to start using only one.
What we want:
Fast internet download and upload
tv that has the basic chanels.
To be able to record 2 or 3 shows a week that we like to watch just not on the days they are broadcast.
What don't we want:
To pay for the ability to record tv shows
No monthly service fee
no contracts
do not want a VCR
Any suggestions on what we can do? Our kids are off to college but I need internet for my college classes. TV is not a high priority but is nice to have once in awhile. In this day and age there has to be a replacement for the VCR that doesn't require a monthly fee.

Not sure where you are located or if you are still getting the old prices, but this is what I calculate.
MR DVR $19.99
HD STB $11.99
Total $31.98
Disc. -$1.99
Total $29.99
HD DVR $16.99
HD STB $11.99
Total $28.98
See attached for my area. You should have received one for your area, or do a google search for Fios Annual notice on the Internet and look for your area.
